Message	then you have no obligation to sell it to him since he never inspected it. Technically, verbal agreements are binding, but since a dispute about such an agreement usually ends up being one person's word against another's, they are virtually always unenforceable. If he takes you to Small Claims, IMHO, you've got nothing to worry about. When buying and selling cars, it's always best to get the terms of the deal in writing. Chance favors the informed
